It’s here! It’s here! The soundtrack to my new film, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday<\/em>, is now available on iTunes<\/a>!!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

My friend\u00a0Mark Mothersbaugh<\/a>, co-founder of DEVO, composed the album’s awesome score! It’s really great!<\/strong><\/p>\n

(If you’re a longtime fan of mine, you probably remember that he also created music for\u00a0my TV show, Pee-wee’s Playhouse<\/em>!)<\/strong><\/p>\n\"PWBH-Soundtrack-social\"\n

In Pee-wee’s Big Holiday<\/em>, I even sing\u00a0a song. It’s\u00a0called “New York.” That song is on the album too!<\/strong><\/p>\n

One funny note about that<\/em> musical number, in particular…<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, the soundtrack\u00a0was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studios in London, England. Mark had pulled together “a rather large group of Londoners and a chorus made up of their closest singing\u00a0friends.\u201d He says, “The singers were great, but it was hard getting them to stop singing in a British accent on\u00a0the New York, New York<\/em> musical number.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\"PWBH-Soundtrack-back\"<\/a>\n
