Did you know? There’s an EDIBLE ring that slides up an ice cream cone to stop it dripping!<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s called the Drip Drop<\/a>\u00a0and it was invented by these\u00a0ten year olds.<\/strong><\/p>\n\"Drip-Drop-inventors\"\n

After entering an innovation competition in\u00a02011, Sam Nassif and\u00a0Oliver Greenwald\u00a0were instructed by their teachers to keep their “eyes open\u00a0for everyday problems.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

They did.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here’s what happened next in their words:<\/strong><\/p>\n

So one day we were walking past an ice cream shop\u00a0in our Denver neighborhood and we saw these two little kids with drippy hands and messy clothes from their\u00a0ice cream cones. We then noticed how their mom used a handful of napkins to try\u00a0to clean them up. This\u00a0image stayed in our minds\u00a0and a few minutes later\u00a0suddenly\u00a0we both turned to each other and had the same thought: something should be done about that\u00a0problem!\u00a0And that\u2019s how The Drip Drop started.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
