I’ve got some exciting news! <\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s time to dust off that turntable because the Pee-wee’s Big Holiday<\/a><\/em> soundtrack is now on VINYL!! And not just any ol’ black vinyl, but a PICTURE DISC!!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

LOOK!! Here’s the front!<\/strong><\/p>\n\"front\"\n

And here’s the BACK!<\/strong><\/p>\n\"back\"\n

COOL, RIGHT?!<\/strong><\/p>\n

My friend\u00a0Mark Mothersbaugh<\/a>, co-founder of DEVO, composed the album\u2019s awesome score! It\u2019s really great!<\/strong><\/p>\n

(If you\u2019re a longtime fan of mine, you probably remember that he also created music for\u00a0my TV show, Pee-wee\u2019s Playhouse<\/em>!)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Pee-wee\u2019s Big Holiday<\/em>, I even sing\u00a0a song. It\u2019s\u00a0called \u201cNew York.\u201d That song is on the album too!<\/strong><\/p>\n

One funny note about that<\/em> musical number, in particular\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, the soundtrack\u00a0was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studios in London, England. Mark had pulled together \u201ca rather large group of Londoners and a chorus made up of their closest singing\u00a0friends.\u201d He says, \u201cThe singers were great, but it was hard getting them to stop singing in a British accent on\u00a0the New York, New York<\/em> musical number.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
