If you’re ever in Japan, be sure to head to the small city of Chichibu<\/a>\u00a0to check out\u00a0Chinsekikan<\/a>\u00a0(“hall of curious rocks”). Curious rocks, indeed! This museum is filled with “jinmenseki,”\u00a0rocks that look like FACES!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\"rock-faces\"\n

For 50 years, the museum’s original director Shozo Hayama collected these special rocks. When he died in 2010, his widow Yoshiko Hayama became the museum’s\u00a0“head” curator.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Look closer at some of the rocks… <\/strong><\/p>\n

These ones look\u00a0SURPRISED, don’t they?<\/strong><\/p>\n\"rock-faces-2\"\n\"rock-faces-3\"\n

There’s even rocks that look like celebrities.\u00a0Here’s\u00a0the king of “Rock” and Roll himself, Elvis Presley!<\/strong><\/p>\n\"elvis-presley-rock\"\n

And Nemo…<\/strong><\/p>\n\"nemo\"\n
