We can all agree that libraries are awesome but some are more awesome than others because they lend out more than books!<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the Public Library in Albuquerque, New Mexico, they lend out CAKE PANS<\/a>!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\"Bake-pans-at-the-library\"\n

With your library card, you can take out one cake pan every three weeks. Be sure to clean it up real good after you’re done because if\u00a0you return a pan\u00a0dirty, you will be charged a $2 damaged item fee. Now, if you’re an adult resident of Berkeley, California, you can borrow\u00a0TOOLS from the Tool Lending Library<\/a>! From awls to tablesaws, they’ve got it all! The most requested items?\u00a0Weed eaters, extension cords, hedge trimmers, demolition hammers and electric snakes!<\/strong><\/p>\n\"Tool-Lending-Library\"<\/a>\n

P.S. There are lots of Tool Libraries, see if there is\u00a0one in your area<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

At the Arlington Public Library in Virginia, there is an American Girl Doll lending program<\/a>!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\"American-Girl-Doll-lending-library\"\n

You can borrow one of the dolls\u00a0for up to seven days at a time. Each one comes with her corresponding book which tells her\u00a0story about growing up in America. Before returning one of the girls, be sure to describe\u00a0her time with you in her\u00a0journal<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\"American<\/a>\n

Need to brush up on your\u00a0Theremini or electric guitar\u00a0skills? If you’re in Ann Arbor, Michigan, you’re in luck! At their library, you can borrow a wide variety of musical instruments and tools<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\"Ann-Arbor-Library\"\n

How cool is THAT?!<\/strong><\/p>\n
