Claymation!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TGIF!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the years, it&#8217;s been a thrill to discover\u00a0that my TV show, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1U8mH3B\" target=\"_blank\">Pee-wee&#8217;s Playhouse<\/a><\/em>, has been the inspiration for numerous\u00a0creative projects\u00a0around\u00a0the world. Well, I&#8217;m happy to announce a new one!<\/p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1IkKZLs\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9264\" src=\"https:\/\/peewee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Penny.jpg\" alt=\"Penny\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Inspired by the show&#8217;s claymation <em>Penny<\/em> cartoons, the new music video from\u00a0Los Angeles-based band <a href=\"http:\/\/tijuanapanthers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tijuana Panthers<\/a>\u00a0uses claymation too!! Punk Play-Doh artist\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/anny_yi\" target=\"_blank\">Anny Yi<\/a>, used\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1KndhLp\" target=\"_blank\">Play-Doh<\/a>\u00a0(of course!) to make the stop-motion animated video for the band&#8217;s\u00a0new single, &#8220;Set Forth&#8221; ! Making claymation videos is time consuming. It took Anny a month and a half to make it!<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-9259\" src=\"https:\/\/peewee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/playdoh-e1440689407934.jpg\" alt=\"playdoh\" width=\"468\" height=\"468\" \/>\n<p><strong>Here it is! Pufnstuf<\/a><\/em> and our pal <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1IkosOQ\" target=\"_blank\">Gumby<\/a>, who once fell through tube during the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1K8Jfwt\" target=\"_blank\">Land of the Lost<\/a><\/em> theme song. Gumby made it out alright but the blockheads that followed weren&#8217;t so lucky. A girl named Penny would visit us in the playhouse&#8230;Chad would sit on Chairy, Daniel would wrestle with Randy &amp; I would listen to Cowboy Curtis go on and on about Miss Yvonne. We were homeschooled by Mr. Herman on how to view the world around us and more importantly, how to interact with it. Pee-wee told us to &#8220;Set Forth,&#8221; so we did and into the woods we ran&#8230;found our own paths, with our own friendly creatures, and together we keep bopping along down that crazy surrealist bucket. &#8221;<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"325\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9275\" src=\"https:\/\/peewee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screen-Shot-2015-08-27-at-5.39.39-PM-e1440711759816.png\" alt=\"Tijuana Panthers\" \/>\n<p>Also, today the Tijuana Panthers release their fourth album, <em>Poster<\/em>. They will be playing an album release show at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theregenttheater.com\/event\/905755-tijuana-panthers-los-angeles\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Regent in Los Angeles<\/a> on September 4th, 2015.
