Sure, you COULD re-gift those nasty fruitcakes you got over the holidays but wouldn’t you rather launch them into the air?!
The good folks in Manitou Springs, Colorado would!
They hold an annual event called the Fruitcake Toss and today from 1 PM to 3 PM, fruitcakes will be a-flyin’!!
People are encouraged to bring their own fruitcake, though some will be available to rent.
There will also be a “Too Good to Toss Fruitcake Bake Off” where bakers compete to become the Fruitcake King or Queen by making their best organic, non-GMO, natural fruitcake!!
Launch those fruitcakes!!
