Rare “Cotton Candy” lobster pardoned by Maine restaurant!!

/ by

LOOK! A rare “cotton candy” lobster was discovered at a Maine restaurant called Scales. Then, it was pardoned!!

They described the lobster as “Betty Blue.”

The odds of finding a “cotton candy” lobster are about 1 in 100 million.

One of the restaurant’s chefs took the lobster on his rowboat and released it near Cow Island.

  • Thank you Paul for brightening my day! I love cotton candy flavor.. this is a unique detail in the culinary & seafood world I’m sure will be great for those who enjoy both cotton candy & lobster, may you have a beautiful day!

Forgive me, Pee-wee, but I do not know what is most fascinating: the beauty of the lobster, the mercy of the cooks or their courage. Obtain such a rare specimen and NOT COOK IT – this requires courage. Thank you, this is a great story for the poem.

  • Excellent post.
