Classy, huh?! This is the uniform mid-19th century Royal Librarians wore to work at Spain’s Real Biblioteca Pública!! I’m not kidding!! LOOK:

    Gold embroidery – a masterpiece, of course! The court and military uniforms of all the times should turn pale with envy … Probably, librarians in 1836 almost completely merged with the gilded books covers.
    (However, this is only a parade uniform … On the one hand, it emphasizes the high status of the profession, on the other hand, it is very bureaucratic!)
