A Rube Goldberg Machine to “pass the pepper” while socially distancing!!

/ by

It took chain-reaction artists Joseph Herscher and Lyle Broughton MONTHS to make this Rube Goldberg Machine that “simply” passes the pepper!!! So many surprises — I was on the edge of my seat!!

Hope you enjoy the video and maybe it will inspire some creative thinking in this time of unusual restrictions. Sometimes limitations (like being stuck at home) can force us to think outside the box. Did you know Isaac Newton came up with his greatest theories while he was self-quarantining from the bubonic plague?

Ah…Cucumbers, spilled coffee, a cake, an overturned table (this is genius at all!) And a flower pot that methodically scatters the pepper… Compliments to the authors! The best way to fill (or saturate) the distance with a large number of events… Thank you for sharing, Pee-wee!
P.S. You have iron nerves, sir: you were on the edge of your seat…at least. I did not. The overturned table overturned my idea of Rube Goldberg’s machine.
