In Budapest’s Egyetem Square, there is a marble fountain that looks like an open book. The best part? Every few seconds it turns a page… and those “pages” are made of water! How cool is that?!

Marble – the embodiment of eternity, immobility; water, on the contrary, embodies movement ( movement of human culture, thought). And – dramatic antithesis: the eternally moving is joined to the eternally stationary. On the other hand, it may be a metaphor for the futility of trying to find out the truth, because this book says so much that it is impossible to know what it is about. The riddle of being? There is also the idea of the ruthlessness of time – because because flipping through the pages will never end… (well, of course, if there are no problems with water supply in Budapest).
Thank you for sharing, Pee-wee! ( and forgive me for being boring: this is not malicious intent, but just a bad habit)
