Many of you know that Pee-wee’s Big Adventure was originally written to be somewhat of a Pollyanna remake…! Pee-wee was going to be in the Hayley Mills role before I came up with the idea of my bike being stolen. I LOVE that movie and Hayley Mills!! Well, I’m excited to tell you that there’s going to be a 60th anniversary Pollyanna Watch Party this Friday, May 22, at 5 p.m. PST. The film is streaming on Disney+. AND, before the movie starts, Hayley Mills herself will be chatting with film historians Leonard Maltin and Jessie Maltin at 4 p.m. on D23’s Facebook and YouTube.
