Watch brown bears catch jumping salmon in this livestream!!!

The salmon are jumping (upstream, of course!) in Alaska’s Brooks Falls and, if you’re lucky, you’ll catch brown bears trying to grab them for their meal in this livestream!

The largest and most successful bears can catch and eat more than 30 salmon (over 120 pounds) per day! Bears are most abundant at Brooks Falls in late June and July during the sockeye salmon migration, but also keep an eye out for bald eagles, lots of gulls, and maybe even the occasional wolf trying to partake in the salmon buffet.

The patience of bears, gulls and wolves is admirable, and the pace at which the salmon move is simply mesmerizing. And all this together excites a terrible appetite…. And this is fraught with consequences, since today is world chocolate day…
